You’re Invited to the Susanville Museum’s Annual Christmas Party

The Lassen County Historical Society is inviting everyone to stop by and enjoy a little holiday hospitality as they throw their 32nd annual Christmas Party in the museum on Weatherlow Street, Thursday, December 12th, from 5:00 to 7:00p.m.

There will be holiday music, special museum displays and refreshments.

“This is a great chance for you to stop by and check out our new displays while enjoying a little holiday spirit,” said Historical Society President Jeremy Couso.

The museum is located at 115 North Weatherlow, and you don’t have to be a Historical Society member to attend.

Looking for a unique Christmas gift? The museum has a bunch of great historical books including rarities like George McDow’s Booms and Mushrooms, Fairfield’s History of Lassen County and Red River: Paul Bunyan’s Own Lumber Company and Its Railroads in hardcover.

New to the museum are heavy canvas tote bags with a 6″ gusset and key clip with “Roop’s Fort – Susanville California” printed on the side for just $15. New 15OZ Ceramic Roop’s Fort mugs have just arrived and are $10 each.

Looking for something extra special? How about hand-crafted Susanville Railroad Depot ornaments. All proceeds from these ornaments go to help support Lassen Land Trails and Trust. Pick one up at the museum today for just $10.

The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00a.m. until 2:00p.m. On Saturday hours are 10:00a.m. until 1:00p.m. For more information call the museum at 257-3292 or email [email protected].
