The Susanville Pops Concerts, the Symphony’s most popular performance each year, are scheduled for this Friday and Saturday and tickets are going fast. The concert also serves as a kickoff for the symphony’s membership drive and tickets for next season’s performances will be available.
“Behind every great movie is a great soundtrack; the orchestra and music behind the film,” says Artistic Director and Conductor Ben Wade.
“Our pops concert this year will be like going to a double feature and beyond. We have take the very best soundtracks ever written and combined them for a truly unforgettable concert.”
What does next season hold in store for symphony fans? “Our 17th season will feature more guest soloists, more encores, more powerhouse packed concerts and more local flavor than ever before,” says Wade.
The Susanville Symphony’s Pops Concerts will be held this Friday, May 17th at 7:00p.m. and Saturday, May 18th at 2:30p.m. at the Susanville Assembly of God Church, 473-465 Richmond Road.
