Westwood Celebrates Christmas in the Mountains this Friday Evening

Come see how residents of Westwood celebrate Christmas in the Mountains this Friday, December 7th, as the town lights up the community Christmas tree and stages a spectacular parade of lights featuring Santa Claus!

Come rain, shine or snow storm, everyone is invited to the community center at 6:00p.m. to watch the lighting of the tree followed by a light parade celebrating the arrival of Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, after which Santa wants to meet all the children of Westwood.

Children can sit on Santa’s lap so bring your cameras for a photo opportunity.

Complimentary hot chocolate and cookies will be served by the Westwood Chamber of Commerce at the Westwood Community Center.

Westwood Family Resource Center will be giving away books.

There will be festivities to watch, participate in, or buy, to keep you entertained.

Contact 256-2456 or [email protected] for more information, or stop by the Visitor Center, at the corner of Ash and Third Street in Westwood, on Friday and Saturday from 9:00p.m. until 2:00a.m.
