Groups, businesses and organizations have cancelled or postponed almost all upcoming local events as fears surrounding the spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus leads to added precautions.
Here is our updated list of events that have been affected.
Lassen High Cadet Corps Military Skills Day, scheduled or March 28th, has been postponed until further notice.
Susanville Sunrise Rotary have cancelled their regular weekly meetings for the next four weeks, with a tentative plan to resume meetings on April 16th.
All activities for the Masons thru April 14th are cancelled including the 3rd Saturday breakfast, the April 7th meeting and all Tuesday night practices.
Jobs Daughters have cancelled their activities.
Milford 4-H have cancelled the Easter egg hunt on April 4th.
CASA’s Movie Night Under the Stars scheduled for March 28th has been postponed.
The Banner Lassen Medical Center Foundation  is postponing the planned Spaghetti Feed fundraiser.
Blue Star Moms March Chapter Meeting has been canceled. Their next monthly meeting is to be determined.
The Vinton Cowboy Poetry Show at the Sierra Valley Grange has been postponed until September 18th and 19th.
The Lassen County Office of Education is cancelling/postponing Third Grade Lassen County History Day, Fourth Grade Day, 8th Grade Day at Lassen Community College, and the Fine Arts Festival.
The Family Connections Conference originally scheduled for March 28th is being postponed.
The Lassen High Alumni Spring Social originally scheduled for April 8th will be postponed and rescheduled at a later date.
The Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser being held for Caren Ziegler on March 21st has been cancelled.
Senior Day at the Diamond Mountain Casino is cancelled until further notice.
The Blue Star Moms Bingo fundraiser is being rescheduled for April 15th.
