Two Lassen County residents were arrested Friday after a search warrant was served on a Johnstonville Road residence and investigators collected a variety of illegal drugs and prohibited items allegedly belonging to the owners.
On June 12th, according to Susanville Police Chief Kevin Jones, the search warrant was executed by members of his department along with Lassen County Sheriffās Office, USFS Law Enforcement Officers and CDCR. The search warrant was directed at obtaining illegal drugs.
According to Jones, 60-year old Lassen County resident Karen Tibbet was arrested for possession of controlled substances for sale and for being a felon in possession of a stun gun.
52-year old Lassen County resident Tim McCallister was arrested for possession of controlled substances for sale and being a felon in possession of ammunition.
Both were booked and held at the Lassen County Jail.
According to Chief Jones’ report the investigation originated from McCallisterās prior drug arrest.
