SusanvilleStuff Proudly Welcomes Melissa Blosser

SusanvilleStuff would like to welcome Melissa Blosser to our growing team of professionals!

Melissa is our new Assistant Editor and Operations Manager and we are very proud to have her on board.

Blosser is excited to join the team, “Susanville Stuff has established an amazing community presence,” said Blosser. “I couldn’t be happier to be part of something that has contributed so much to building up our community,” she said.

Blosser has been a Lassen County resident since 2005, and with her husband Buddy, a fourth generation rancher, they operate a cow calf operation and have two boys Brody and Blake.

Blosser brings professional experience from her previous roles as Public Relations Specialist at Banner Lassen Medical Center and as the Lassen County Fair Office Manager.

She has also served the community through Lassen County Cattlewomen as Wine Tasting Chair as well as her role as volunteer advocate for children with special needs.

“This position will allow me to continue to have an active role in promoting what is great about this community,” said Blosser. “This is an amazing opportunity and I am honored,” she said.

Blosser has been writing feature stories for Susanville Stuff and will continue to do so in addition to her new role. She will also be starting work on a new feature series titled “Behind the Brand,” showcasing the history of ranching and agriculture families in Lassen County.

“This is my dream job, I truly enjoy capturing people in their element through writing and photography,” said Blosser. “If I can capture a few candid moments, and highlight what is rich and pure about Lassen County, I know I will have done my job,” she said.
