Citywide Neighborhood Watch Meeting with Susanville Police Department Chief Kevin Jones. SPD’s newly appointed Chief, Kevin Jones, is planning a Citywide Neighborhood Watch Meeting on Thursday, January 24th, 2019, at 6:00 PM at the Lassen Senior Center, 1700 Sunkist Drive in Susanville. His goal is to address all of the NW Groups together to provide some clear direction and make sure everyone is consistent. In addition he will share information on several of SPD ’s projects, including the Tobacco Enforcement Grant. All are welcome.

Lassen Land and Trails Trust Ski Trip. An adventurous cross country ski outing to Butte Lake, led by Phil Finkel. This is for the tried and true cross-country skier and, of course, may be affected by the weather. It’s a 13-mile round trip. Please pre-register by calling (530)257-3252, dress appropriately and bring water, snacks and lunch. Participants will meet at the historic Susanville railroad depot at 8:30a.m.

Lassen Land and Trails Trust Soup Dinner Fundraiser. Everyone is welcome at the Historic Susanville Railroad Depot at 5:30p.m. for an array of hot, homemade soups, breads and cookies. Just want to eat out? Well, then simply come to the depot for dinner! Soup dinner is for a $10 donation per person and a $5 donation for children 12 and under. While filling up on great soups, enjoy a no-host bar.
