The lights are lit and the curtain is ready to go up on the 2020 Susanville Best of Broadway performances at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall on Main Street. This year there will be seven performances of the show which features numbers from Broadway shows like Beauty and the Beast, the Lorax, Waitress, Rocky Horror Picture Show and more.
The annual theatrical extravaganza includes a cast of hundreds with gorgeous production value and lots of fun music. It is the single most attended entertainment event of the year for a simple reason – there is something for everyone; from classic Broadway shows like Meredith Wilson’s The Music Man to recent hits like Jessie Nelsen’s Waitress. Highlights include the fan favorite “Putting on the Ritz” from Young Frankenstein and “Time Warp” from Rocky Horror Picture show.
The soloists and the ensemble cast are fantastic and energetic. All around it is a great entry into Susanville’s long-running Broadway series.
There will be 7:00 evening shows on Friday, March 13th , Saturday, March 14th, Friday, March 20th and Saturday, March 21st.
Matinee performances are scheduled for 2:00p.m. on Saturday, March 14th, and Saturday March 21st.
There will also be a special mid-week show on Wednesday, March 18th at 6:00p.m.

Tickets to the performances, normally sold out early, are $10 and are being sold at Margie’s Book Nook and the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce.
