The Lassen County Community Advisory Committee for Special Education is looking for more parents, educators and professionals to join their association.
The group meets every third Thursday at 6:00p.m. and the next meeting is scheduled for March 15th, at the Lassen County Office of Education.
All parents, family members, educators, agency representatives and others interested in children with special needs are invited to attend.
The group is designed to advise the Lassen County SELPA (Special Education Local Plan Area) districts and review the local plan for special education.
The meetings provide an opportunity to learn and share with other parents who have similar experiences and build communication between schools, parents and related agencies.
