Sheriff Growdon to Host Open House and Public Meeting on May 24th

On May 24th, the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting an open house to provide an opportunity for the public to come learn about the operations of their Sheriff’s Office.

Staff will be available during the open house to provide tours of the Sheriff’s Office, 911 Dispatch Center and the County Jail.

The public will be able to learn about patrol operations, jail operations, 911 dispatch, civil, investigations, boat patrol, concealed weapons permits, Coroner operations and more.

The tours will be available from 4:00 to 7:00p.m. at 1415 Sheriff Cady Lane in Susanville.

The Sheriff will hold a public meeting that evening at 7:00 to provide an update on Sheriff’s Office operations and to answer questions presented by the public. This open forum will give everyone an opportunity to learn about criminal justice system reforms and their impact on the local justice system, as well as our communities.

“I encourage people to take advantage of this opportunity to learn about the broad range of public safety services provided by the Sheriff’s Office,” said Sheriff Growdon, “and to meet some of the dedicated professional who work hard to keep our communities safe each day.”
