Sheriff Growden Holds Open House

Tuesday, June 7th, 2011

Want to learn about the various missions and responsibilities of the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office?

Sheriff Dean Growden will be holding an open house from 4:00 to 6:00 this afternoon at the Sheriff’s Office on Cady Lane, followed by a public meeting at 6:00.

The public meeting will give residents a chance to discuss the Sheriff’s missions and responsibilities, public safety realignment, current crime trends and crime prevention.

There is also time set aside for open discussion between attendees and the Sheriff.

According to Growden it is important to, “establish a forum that gives citizens the opportunity to give input related to Sheriff’s Office operations.” Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.

For more information about this evening’s event call the Sheriff’s Office at 251-8013.

Why We Need Reader Support

Our independent, local coverage takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. It is also not particularly lucrative. Our primary revenue source, banner advertising on SusanvilleStuff, is simply not enough by itself, and we increasingly need to rely on reader support to pay the bills.

Every dollar our readers contribute goes towards making SusanvilleStuff a stronger voice in the community with better, more comprehensive content. We are committed to never putting up a paywall for our readers, and content on SusanvilleStuff will always be free. These contributions are completely voluntary, and very appreciated.

Thank You! Jeremy and Marshel Couso,
  Publishers, SusanvilleStuff.com
