Lassen County’s Director of Health and Social Services has announced that because of the unhealthy air quality local restaurants will be allowed to offer dine-in eating to their customers. Dine-in eating has been prohibited because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Due to the poor air quality caused by the fires,” explains Health and Social Services Director Barbara Longo, “we are asking restaurant and eateries to offer dine-in and take out/delivery services until further notice.”
“Please review your approved reopening plan to ensure COVID-19 prevention measures are in place including social distancing, enhanced surface disinfecting and sanitation, and face coverings.”
