The Pizza Factory in Susanville, one of two locations owned by Jeff and Meredith Chew

Jeff and Meredith Chew, owners of the Pizza Factory locations in Susanville and Janesville won the “Awesome Franchisees for Over 20 Years” Award at the company’s recent convention and award ceremony in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

During the award ceremony, Pizza Factory called special attention to franchise owners who achieved record sales, performed outstanding community service and who reached significant milestones. Jeff and Meredith Chew, who opened the Janesville Pizza Factory in March 1997, received special recognition based for their longstanding ownership with local pizzeria.

“We are honored to receive recognition for such a milestone moment in our journey with Pizza Factory,” said Jeff Chew. “This award is a true symbol of the love we’ve developed for Pizza Factory throughout the decades. It’s been a pleasure watching our pizzeria grow into a local staple in the community, and we look forward to serving Janesville for years to come.”

Pizza Factory’s convention and award ceremony served as an opportunity for all owners to come together to celebrate successes, strategize for the year ahead, hear from industry experts and visit with vendors.

Besides its emphasis on fresh ingredients, Pizza Factory is also well known for donating extra time, money and resources in support of the causes that matter most to its customers. Pizza Factory’s “No Bully Zone” program raises awareness about the prevalence of bullying in schools and throughout the community. Through local partnerships, Pizza Factory fights to put an end to harsh bullying wherever and whenever it occurs.

Why We Need Reader Support

Our independent, local coverage takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. It is also not particularly lucrative. Our primary revenue source, banner advertising on SusanvilleStuff, is simply not enough by itself, and we increasingly need to rely on reader support to pay the bills.

Every dollar our readers contribute goes towards making SusanvilleStuff a stronger voice in the community with better, more comprehensive content. We are committed to never putting up a paywall for our readers, and content on SusanvilleStuff will always be free. These contributions are completely voluntary, and very appreciated.

Thank You! Jeremy and Marshel Couso,
