The Lassen Land and Trails Trust sponsored Rails to Trails Festival, a day-long party with chili and salsa contests, live music and neat booths was held Saturday at the historic Railroad Depot on Richmond Road.
This was the 27th annual Rails to Trails Festival, which LL&TT promotes as a celebration of outdoor life in Lassen County, and it featured a variety of events for the entire family.
There was live music, a chili cook-off competition, artisans, craft vendors and kids’ activities including face painting and an area to for chalk art.
