NWS Weather Bulletin: Winter Weather Advisory Until 10:00a.m. Wednesday

Tuesday, December 4th, 2018

The National Weather Service’s office in Reno is warning residents in our area to prepare for a blast of winter weather between now and 10:00a.m. Wednesday.

Snow is expected here in the Honey Lake Valley with total snow accumulations of up to two inches. Localized accumulations of up to 4 inches are forecast for elevations above 5,000 feet.

Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact this evening’s commute as well as the Wednesday morning commute.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads and limited visibility, and use caution while driving.

The latest road conditions can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
