Mike Ceaglio
Mike Ceaglio, a lifelong local of Westwood CA, passed away on November 5, 2021 in Reno NV, at the age of 66. Mike lived in Clear Creek, for many years with his family. He was born in Chester CA, on April 21, 1955, to Barbara Ceaglio and Carl Ceaglio and was raised in Westwood CA, graduating from Westwood High School in 1973. Once graduating high school Mike went to work for Collins Pine as a heavy equipment operator in the logging industry for many years. He later moved onto the Lassen county road department, to run heavy equipment for many more years. Then in 2007, Mike decided to go work for Builders Supply in Chester, quickly fitting right in. Getting up and going to work every day at Builders Supply for Mike was something he simply loved to do, the customers and crew he worked around made his days enjoyable.
Throughout Mike’s work carrier he acquired several nicknames. He was known as “Snag” while working in the woods, and “Frank” while working at Builders Supply,
people didn’t realize his real name was Mike all these years.
Mike is survived by; his wife Shelley Ceaglio, his son Matthew Ceaglio, his daughter Erichia Ceaglio, and brothers Bill Ceaglio, Vernon Ceaglio, and Nick Ceaglio.
Mike was a devoted husband and a father. He enjoyed being outdoors, going wood cutting, snowmobiling, shooting guns, spending time out on his boat, and most importantly quality time with his family. Mike asked for so little, but gave so very much, he will be in our hearts forever.
