Meet Your 2018 Miss Lassen County Pageant Contestants!

The Miss Lassen County contestants are getting ready for their big pageant Wednesday night at the Lassen County Fair! The annual scholarship pageant, held in the grandstands, starts at 8:00p.m. and you can click here to buy your tickets online.

Now let’s meet our 2018 Miss Lassen County Pageant contestants!

Gracie Claypool

17-year old Gracie Claypool is the daughter of Jesse and Kerry Claypool and she is sponsored by Mallery Law.

We asked our contestants if they were in the circus, what act would they be? Gracie answered, “To be the standing horseback rider because I’d get to work with the horses and wear cute outfits.”

Hannah Heimbigner

Hannah Heimbigner is the 17-year old daughter of Pete and Dede Heimbigner. She is sponsored by Dr. Ross Northrup, DDS and Heather Marsh of Hair Hunters.

Hannah said, “I would be a fire juggler because it takes focus and patience which are two skills I have. Also, how cool would that be?”

Kendall Hubbard

17-year old Kendall Hubbard is the daughter of Tod and Sandie Hubbard and is sponsored by Billington Ace Hardware and Gold Run Cabinetry and Door Co.

What circus act would Kendall be? She says, “I would be a tightrope walker because I think the adrenaline rush and crowd reaction would be amazing!”

Megan MacKay

Megan MacKay, the 17-year old daughter of Chuck and Jessica MacKay is sponsored by El Cuatrero and J and J Performing Arts.

“I would be a clown because I love to make people smile,” says MacKay.

Ariana Miranda

17-year old Ariana Miranda is the daughter of Blandy and Rafael Miranda. She is sponsored by Iron Horse Gym and Michael Rose Dentistry.

Ariana says that her circus performance would be as an acrobat because, “they get to do cool tricks that test their limits.”

Hailey Moore

17-year old Hailey Moore, daughter of Brian Moore and Susan Esquivel, is sponsored by J and J Performing Arts and The Beauty Bar.

Hailey says, “I would be an acrobat because I love the adrenaline rush and putting people in awe.”

Sophia Meraz

Sophia Meraz, 16-year old daughter of Violet and Efren Meraz, is sponsored by Sean P. Buehler DDS and Knezevich Construction and Painting.

Sophia said she would be a, “Trapeze Dancer, because it has to do with dance which is my passion.”

Bailey Nuckols

17-year old Bailey Nuckols is the daughter of Connie and Rick Davis. She is sponsored by Milwood Florist and Nursery and Pizza Factory.

“I would be a juggler,” says Bailey, “because I am able to juggle many things like doing Miss Lassen County and playing football.”

Becky Struthers

16-year old Becky Struthers is the daughter of JT Struthers and Marilyn Kerby. She is sponsored by Idaho Butcher Shoppe and CCPOA.
Becky said she would be an, “Animal Tamer, because I love all kinds of animals and would enjoy working with them.”
