LMUD System-wide Outage

LMUD is reporting that power has just been restored to most of the utility’s 10,500 customers. If your electricity is still out LMUD asks you to call 257-4174 to report your outage.

PG&E crews have located the down tree on the Caribou line in the Feather River Canyon. Tree crews are working to remove the tree. As soon as the hazard is removed, PG&E will energize the transmission line and power should be restored to the LMUD system at approximately 7:30pm.

LMUD Outage update: PG&E crews are responding to trees down in the feather river canyon. There is no est time of restoration.

Lassen Municipal Utility District is experiencing a power outage which is affecting all of the utility’s customers.
At 11:41 LMUD texted customers saying that, “Crews are responding to reports of system-wide outages. We will send more info as available.”
According to LMUD there is no estimated time of restoration. We will have more information as it becomes available.
