30 Enter Amateur Show in Lassen
April 7, 1952

30 contestants will participate in the Susanville 20-30 club amateur show Tuesday, according to Frank Maurino, co-chairman of the event.

The youngest contestant is a little miss of three, and the oldest is a lady of 82 years.

The club will have nothing to do with the judging, Mr. Maurino emphasized. A panel of five judges for the afternoon show and seven for the evening performance will be selected from the respective audiences.

The club is offering seven trophies including a first and second award in each of the three divisions, and a grand prize for the show’s best performance.
