Susanville Expects Building Activity
April 25, 1920

SusanvilleĀ is preparing for a year of the greatest activity in building the city has ever known in which hundreds of thousands will be spent and many hands given employment.

Sawmills, box factory, additions to lumber plants, business houses, dwellings and hotels for the lumber company employees will be erected this year.

The lumber companies will also build many cottages for the housing of the married men in their employ.

In addition the school district will build a schoolhouse for which bonds were voted recently.
