Lassen’s Got Talent
It’s that time of year again! All LHS students to have the opportunity to show their stuff on February 28th as part of the annual talent competition. Sign-ups start today and there will be a poster outside Mr. Wade’s office door. Cash prizes included for the top talent.
The CSF Meeting as been rescheduled to Thursday, February 6th at lunch in Mrs. Satica’s room 112. Wear college gear for the CSF yearbook picture. Freshmen who have turned in an application and qualify – your lunch is on CSF.
There will be an Interact Meeting Tuesday at lunch in the Career Lab. Bring a lunch.
There will be a Track and Field Meeting Wednesday, February 5th, in Mr. Geoia’s room at lunch.

Valegrams for Valentine’s Day
The Choir will be selling Valegrams in the cafeteria until February 13th. Buy a Valegram for someone and talented choir singers will go to their class on Valentine’s day and sing to them. Cost is $5 for the song and $10 for a song and a rose.
Counseling News
Scholarships are now available. Check them out on Naviance or in the Counseling Office. Scholarships are available from Beta Sigma Phi ~Eta Eta, Cabrillo Civic Clubs of California, California State Retirees, Julie McQueen Memorial, FBLA, Monticola Club, Plumas Sierra REC, Sierra Desert Properties, Susanville Elks Lodge #148, CA Retired Teachers Association, Div #76, Laurete Theta Psi, Beta Sigma Phi Scholarship in memory of Hank Hardy and Native Daughters of the Golden West.
Ms. Lake’s Biology Trip TA list is post outside Ms. Lake’s Room, room 762. The first TA meeting will be Wednesday, February 5th during lunchtime. Please see Mr. Nielsen for details.
2020 Volleyball Season
Any girls interested in participating in the 2020 Volleyball season at Lassen High should attend a meeting Wednesday, February 12th at lunch in Coach Larson’s room 320. Spring and Summer open gym schedules, Oregon camp details for varsity players and tryout dates will all be discussed.
