Grizzliette Show This Friday
The 2019 Grizzliette Show is on Friday May 3rd at 7:00 in the big gym. Tickets are $3 for LHS students and can be purchased Tuesday through Friday at the ASB counter. You won’t want to miss this showcase of Grizzliette performances, including special appearances by the LHS Cheerleaders, J&J Performing Arts, and many more.
Miss Lassen County Applications Available
Who will be crowned Miss Lassen County 2019? It could be you! Applications are available in the counseling office. Open to all Junior and Seniors. Deadline is May 17th.
Uptown Uniforms Prom Sale
Order your tux before April 29th and get 10% off. Ladies, Lassen Family Services will be at Uptown Uniforms with dresses on April 29th. Last day to order without rush fee will be May 3rd. Final rush orders will be May 8th. Rush shipping is $50.
Tour of CSU Chico
Attention all Sophomores and Juniors. If you are interested in CSU Chico, the counseling department is taking 30 students on May 7th for a tour. Come by the counseling office and see Shanda to put your name on the list. This is first come first serve.
Senior Prom Bids On Sale Soon
Class of 2019 goes to the 1920’s… GREAT GATSBY. Join your Senior class as we celebrate Senior Prom on Saturday, May 11th at Jensen Hall from 9:00 to Midnight.
Bids will be on sale soon at the ASB counter and are $25 for a single and $45 for a couple. Post your promposal with the #lhsgatsby2019 to earn the chance to win an Amazon Alexa! See you there Old Sport!
Student Trustee Applications Deadline Tuesday
Lassen High School is now accepting applications for the Student Trustee position on the Lassen Union High School District Board of Trustees. Applications can be picked up at the ASB counter in the Library and are due back by April 30th. Responsibilities include attending all board meetings, reporting to the Student Senate and representing all students to the LUHS Board.
If any LHS student is interested in applying for this office please pick up an application, or if you have questions please contact Carrie Satica in room 313.
Performing Arts Club
The performing arts club will work on set-building Monday April 29th between 3:30 and 5:00 in the drama room.
Open Gym for Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball
Girls’ Basketball Spring Basketball Open Gym remaining dates: April 29th, and May 1st in the Big Gym from 6:30 – 8:00p.m. All girls interested in playing basketball for LHS should attend.
Boys’ Basketball has open gym Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6 to 7.30.

Get Your Cap and Gown
Ultimate Grad Company packet and ring purchases will be held in the Library May 9th. Students won’t be able to walk in the ceremony without a cap and gown.
