Senior Prom Bids On Sale Soon
Class of 2019 goes to the 1920’s… GREAT GATSBY. Join your Senior class as we celebrate Senior Prom on Saturday, May 11th at Jensen Hall from 9:00 to Midnight.
Bids will be on sale soon at the ASB counter and are $25 for a single and $45 for a couple. Post your promposal with the #lhsgatsby2019 to earn the chance to win an Amazon Alexa! See you there Old Sport!
Uptown Uniforms Prom Sale
Order your tux before April 29th and get 10% off! Ladies, Lassen Family Services will be at Uptown Uniforms with dresses on April 29th. Last day to order without rush fee will be May 3rd. Final rush orders will be May 8th – rush shipping is $50.
Student Trustee Applications
Lassen High School is now accepting applications for the Student Trustee position on the Lassen Union High School District Board of Trustees. Applications can be picked up at the ASB counter in the Library and are due back by April 30th. Responsibilities include attending all board meetings, reporting to the Student Senate and representing all students to the LUHS Board.
If any LHS student is interested in applying for this office please pick up an application, or if you have questions please contact Carrie Satica in room 313.
Performing Arts Club
The performing arts club is sponsoring two cool after school events. On Monday, April 22nd, we will play with stage makeup and on Monday, April 29th work on set building. Both classes are 3:30-5:00 in the drama room.
LGBTQ+ Club Meeting
The Lassen LGBTQ+ Club’s next meeting will be Wednesday, April 24th on the late start. All LGBTQ+ students, all questioning or curious about their own identity, and all allies, those who support gay rights, are welcome to join us. The club meets in the art room, 716 at lunch, every late start Wednesday.
Open Gym for Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball
Girls’ Basketball Spring Basketball Open Gym dates: April 22nd, 24th, 29th, and May 1st in the Big Gym from 6:30 – 8:00p.m. All girls interested in playing basketball for LHS should attend.
Boys’ Basketball will have open gyms starting April 23rd on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6 to 7.30.

Get Your Cap and Gown
Ultimate Grad Company packet and ring purchases will be held in the Library May 9th. Students won’t be able to walk in the ceremony without a cap and gown.
