Lassen High News and Information for Students and Parents
In a meeting with the Northern Athletic League on Wednesday, Administrators from Lassen High discussed with the other Administrators and Athletic Directors how league members can move forward with athletic programs for the upcoming school year.
After much discussion the NAL has decided that football and volleyball will not be playing in the fall and will likely start in December or January as a winter sport.
The league will be submitting a plan to the local health departments for the following sports to be played in the fall; Baseball, Softball, Cross country, Boys Golf and Girls Golf
School officials say that they are also anticipating the state of California will come out with more guidance in the near future, saying that, “We know that this is a frustrating time, but we will continue to do all that we can to ensure that our students are able to participate in athletics as much as possible.”
Coaches will communicate with their teams regarding practice.
