Lassen High School will be holding this year’s cheerleading tryouts virtually as the school deals with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“This year’s cheer tryouts are going to look a bit different,” cheer organizers explain. “Typically, we would have a cheer clinic prior to tryouts and then have face to face tryouts, but this year is making us be creative.”
To tryout for the LHS cheer squad you must click here and complete the cheer registration form. You must also provide your 3rd quarter grades, which can be accessed from your school or your 3rd quarter report card.
You must submit your grades to try out.
Tryouts will begin May 25th, when the routines will be posted on the Lassen high Cheerleader’s Facebook page and their lassencheer Instagram account.
Tryouts will conclude on May 30th, with a virtual tryout with the coaches.
Tryouts will include: Routines consisting of two game chants, one crowdgetter and one :30 second dance and a toe touch jump.
