The Lassen County Deputy Sheriff’s Association will be hosting a golf-tournament fundraiser for Jenni Uruburu and the Uruburu family at the Diamond Mountain Golf Course, May 8th.
Cost to play is $100 per player with teams of 4. Lunch is included with the registration fee.
Registration is at 8:00a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 9:00. To register call 251-2645.
Uruburu, who is a huge part of this community, was diagnosed with stage 4 Uterine cancer on February 4th.
Organizers of the event say that the last thing Jenni needs to worry about is her medical expenses.
