Lassen County Office of Emergency Services Issues COVID-19 Update

The Lassen County Office of Emergency Services is reporting that a total of 13 samples have been submitted for COVID-19 testing locally, with 6 tests returning negative and the other seven still outstanding.

At this time, according to the update, Lassen County has zero confirmed cases of COVID-19.

“We are asking the residents of Lassen County to honor Governor Newsom’s order to stay at home,” the agency said in the statement.

“In addition to precautions you may already be taking, we encourage that all citizens of Lassen County remain calm and do not act in a manner that might unnecessarily overwhelm the healthcare system. In case you suspect you are infected with COVID-19, a Call Center has been established to evaluate your concerns.”
