Make plans to attend the monthly Chamber Mixer that will be hosted by Sierra Desert Properties, located at 613 Main Street in Historic Uptown Susanville, and will be co-hosted by Les Schwab Tire on Thursday, October 10th, from 5:30 to 7:30pm.
The evening mixer will include food, no-host bar, and live music. Everyone is welcomed to attend and we encourage you to bring a friend.
The Chamber board will meet on Thursday, October 10th for the monthly board meeting, beginning at noon, at Diamond Mountain Casino in the Hotel Conference Room. The board encourages member attendance and comment; if you would like to address the board please contact the office staff prior to the board meeting so that you can be added to the agenda.
HUSA’s Annual Safe and Sane Halloween will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2019, from 3-5pm, in Historic Uptown Susanville. Main Street, in the Historic Uptown Susanville, will be closed during the event to thru traffic. The event will include a Pet Costume Contest, Children’s Costume Contest, and Coffin Races.
Plan to bring your little ghosts and goblins, ages 12 and under, for a fun filled afternoon. All area businesses, even if you are not in the historic district, are invited to participate and can reserve a spot to join in. For more information contact Chairperson, David Teeter at 257-2392
The Magical Country Christmas Committee, chaired by Julie Brown, has begun preparing for this year’s event that will be held on Saturday, December 7th, in Historic Uptown Susanville.
The Christmas tree at the top of Main Street will be going up the week of Thanksgiving. If you are interested in serving on the committee to help to make this another successful event contact the office staff at 257-4323.
