Join the Chamber board as we celebrate the remodel completion of Golden 1 Credit Union, Thursday, March 14th, from 6-7pm. The Golden 1 Credit Union staff is excited to celebrate the completion as they host an Open House that will include food and beverages, as well as a chance for a prize giveaway.

The Chamber board will meet on Thursday, March 14th, for the monthly board meeting, beginning at noon, at Diamond Mountain Casino in the hotel conference room.
The board encourages member attendance and comment; if you would like to address the board please contact the office staff prior to the board meeting so that you can be added to the agenda.
The Chamber is accepting applications to fill an unexpired board vacancy; the board term runs thru December 2021. If you are a chamber member and are interested in applying to fill the board vacancy, stop by the Chamber office, located at 1516 Main Street, to pick up an application. Applications must be returned by Monday, March 12, 2019.
The Chamber plans to attend and represent Lassen County, at the Reno Outdoor Recreation, RV & Boat Show on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, March 14, 15,16, & 17. The Chamber board has made it a priority to promote Lassen County with a strong presence at the four day show. Volunteers are still needed to man the booth; if you are interested in helping out contact the Chamber staff at 257-4323.
Learn what it takes to start a business. The Chamber has teamed up with SCORE to present a free 2 hour workshop “Basics of Starting a Business” Monday, March 18th, 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The workshop will be held at the Business and Career Network, 1616 Chestnut Street, Susanville.
This session is for anyone who is interested in starting a business or has been in business for less than a year. You must register for the class at https://northernnevada.score.org/content/take-workshop or call 844-232-7227 to register.
Applications to participate in the 2019 Spring Show that will be held on Saturday, April 27th, (formerly called the Spring Home and Garden Show) are now available. Stop by the Chamber office to pick up an application or call 257-4323 to have an application forwarded to you.
