The seminar is co-hosted by Plumas Bank, SCORE, and the Lassen Chamber on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, 5:30pm to 7pm, at Plumas Bank 3000 Riverside Drive, Susanville.
The free business seminar will be presented by a SCORE business leader and will cover the factors for success in starting a business, advantages and disadvantages of different business opportunities, what it takes to write a business plan, financial requirements of starting and running a business, sources for financing, developing a marketing plan, pricing and branding and so much more. Chamber members should make sure that the Chamber’s visitor lobby has an adequate supply of your business cards and brochures to promote your business throughout the year. This is a free marketing service that is available to all Chamber members. Many brochures and business cards were depleted over the summer season and are in need of restocking.
The Chamber has the 2018 Labor Law posters which feature all required federal and state notices on one poster. California employers are required to post updated employment posters at each place of business. We have a limited quantity of posters available for sale. Stop by the Chamber office, located at 1516 Main Street, to purchase one for your business.
Mark your calendar to attend the first Chamber Mixer of the year that will be hosted by Diamond Mountain Casino, Hotel, and Brewery on Thursday, February 1, 2018, from 5:30 to 7:30pm, in the Willow Room. No-host bar and appetizers will be served. You do not need to be a chamber member to attend everyone is welcomed and we encourage you to bring a friend to mingle with friends and business associates.
