Lassen County Chamber of Commerce Weekly Update

Patti Hagata, Executive Director

The Annual Spring Home, Garden, and Recreation Show will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds, from 10am to 4pm. Food and drink will be available throughout the day and admission is free. Stop by to see what’s new and get inspired to start your spring projects.

The Chamber has 2017 Labor Law posters available for sale. The poster features all required federal and state notices on one poster. California employers are required to post updated employment posters at each place of business. Is your business in compliance? Stop by the Chamber office to purchase one for your business.

We are excited to announce that the Chamber office will be relocating, thanks to a generous sponsorship provided by Diamond Mountain Casino and Hotel, to 1516 Main Street, Susanville (across from the Susanville Fire Department) May 1st. The new location will allow us to better promote our business members and the community. Area visitors will be able to locate us at the more visible main street location and the new office building has amble parking and is a handicap accessible. Due to this move the office will be out of service for the first few days of May as we get relocated in the new office space and get everything back up and running. We can still be reached by calling 257-4323 or via email [email protected].

Small Business Administration (SBA) low interest federal disaster loans are available to California businesses and residents affected by the recent storms and flooding. For more information call SBA Customer Service at 1-800-659-2955.
