Lassen College Reminding Residents That Campus is Closed at This Time

The administration at Lassen Community College is reminding everyone that the college’s campus is closed to the public, including the track and athletic facilities, during the COVID-19 shutdown.

“While our mission under normal circumstances is to invite the public up to the campus as frequently as possible,” explains Public Information Officer Julie Johnston, “with the school closure due to COVID-19, the campus is closed to all members of the public at this time.”

“This includes walking the campus, use of the track, athletic facility or fields. This is for the public’s safety.”

According to Johnston essential personnel are allowed on campus on an as-needed basis for operations.

“We hope to open the campus back up to the community when allowed and hope you will continue to think of LCC for your remote learning needs during this time of staying home and social distancing.”

Summer and fall registration at the college is now open online at lassencollege.edu.
