Katherine (Kathy) Sue Moberg
Katherine (Kathy) Sue Moberg passed away on May 30, 2020. Kathy was born in Stockton Ca. on April 27, 1953 to Wanda Vesik and Elmo Tomlin. Kathy moved to Susanville in 1985 and enjoyed spending her time camping and fishing. Kathy had a strong love for family, always putting family needs before her own. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents Elmo Tomlin, Wanda and Al Vesik, and also the two loves of her life, John Moberg and John Swets.
Kathy is survived by her sisters Rose Cochran, and Vickey Bird, Daughters Rebecca Hite and Nancy Lamb, all from Stockton Ca. Her son and daughter in law Chris and Dina Moberg of Susanville, Ca. Kathy is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and “adopted” family members, she was mom and grandma to many that was not blood related and she loved them all the same as if they were born into the family.
Her memorial services will be June 29, 2020 at Walton’s Colonial Mortuary in Susanville Ca. At 2 pm with a celebration of life afterwards at Memorial Park also in Susanville, Ca. The family requests that donations be made in leu of flowers to The American Heart Association.
