Position: Operations Manager

Location: Herlong, CA

Hours: Full Time

Salary: DOE


The Operations Manager shall plan, direct, and coordinate all SIRCO’s operations. This position will report to the SIRCO CEO and serve as a member of the management team. The primary responsibilities include ensuring organizational effectiveness by improving performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies.


  • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organization’s mission- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the Support Services (HR, Fiscal, IT), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including initiatives geared toward operational excellence.
  • Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems and controls.
  • Development and management of company budgets.
  • Regular meetings with the CEO around fiscal planning, organization operations, and initiatives.
  • Supervise, train, and coach managers on an ongoing basis in coordination with HR Department.
  • Develop and/or improve quality controls and monitor KPI’s.
  • Oversight and generation of required company reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to SIRCO CEO and SIRCO Board of Directors.


  • BS Degree
  • 5 years minimum management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, Google applications, Quickbooks
  • Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative management style
  • Robust organizational and planning skills
  • Excels at operating in a fast-paced work environment
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and maintain positive work environment
  • Knowledge of Native American Communities, their organizational structure, and basic understanding of Tribal laws and regulations

Preference will be given to Native Americans (42 CFR 36.221)
