Mandatory Evacuations In Place: Adams Fire Closes Highway 395

The Mandatory Evacuation order for Constantia Road in Doyle remains in place for residents along both sides of Constantia Road from the intersection of Highway 395 and South Constantia Road, North to Rhodes Creek.

People need to leave the evacuation area. Please be courteous to your neighbors and use caution due to first responders in the area. Evacuees needing shelter should call the Lassen County Emergency Shelter number (530)250-9088.

People with special needs who will need help evacuating should call (530)257-6121 and let us know what assistance you will need. Deputies have gone door to door in the area to notify residents.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY MANDATORY EVACUATION FOR SOUTH COSTANTIA RD. IN DOYLE

Effective immediately, a Mandatory Evacuation order has been issued for residents along South Constantia Road in Doyle.

A vegetation fire burning south of Doyle, near South Constantia Road, has shut down Highway 395 to traffic.

According to the Susanville office of the California Highway Patrol the road is closed from Doyle to Red Rock. At the time there is no estimate for reopening.

The fire is reportedly fast-moving and residents of the area should be aware and take precautions.

Lassen County Sheriff Dean Growdon issued a CODE RED alert for the area advising residents to leave if the fire is close.
