Gallery: Work Progressing on Our New Courthouse

It’s been exactly one year since we first introduced our readers to Clark and Sullivan Construction Company’s crane cam with its sweeping views of the work taking place at the new Lassen County Courthouse on Riverside Drive.

We thought it would be fun to check in and see the progess made in last 12 months.

The 42,320 square-foot, 40 million dollar project is still under construction and you can watch it all from the comfort of your own computer.

The construction company has set up a nifty webcam which gives you a crane height view of the whole site.

The camera is updated 24 hours a day and includes a time lapse history of the project, zoom-able full screen video and the ability to see archived images taken since the project’s inception. Pretty neat!

The new three-courtroom courthouse will enable the Superior Court of Lassen County to consolidate all court services into a single building and will improve service with the additional space it will provide.

The two-story building will include space for court clerks, holding areas and building support space.

To find out more about our new courthouse follow this link to the Office of Court Construction and Management’s webpage.

Expected completion of the courthouse project is by spring of 2012.
