Lassen Baseball holds awards night on the eve of the first round of playoffs.
Coaches, players, parents and fans gathered at Memorial park to honor the 2012 Grizzly Baseball teams. The JV team has ended their season and the Varsity has a home game for the first round of playoffs Friday May 11.
Lassen Varsity ended the regular season in first place in league with a record of 10-3. Awards for the Varsity team were, Best Defensive Steven White, Best Offensive Jared Bertotti, Pitching Award Joey Beck, Top Academic Daniel Perry, and Coaches awards Kyle Winn and Adam Miranda.
Lassen JV ended the season with a 7-7 record. Awards for the JV team were, MVP Travis Fuller, Best Defensive Jaylin Ford, Best Offensive Keith Rose, Most Improved Tyler Winn, Band Aid Award Logan Loflin, and Coaches Awards went to Bryant Wood and Dakota Hahn.
Come out to Memorial Park Friday May 11 at 4:00pm and watch the Varsity Grizzlies take on Central Valley in the first round of playoffs.
