Each year the Lassen County Farm Bureau awards scholarships to students who excel in leadership skills and demonstrate a commitment to the agricultural industry.
According to Farm Bureau Executive Director Naomi Turner the Farm Bureau has awarded 8 scholarships for high school and college students in our community.
Turner explained that Lassen County Farm Bureau is dedicated to the promotion and development of families and businesses in the agricultural field.
Congratulations to the 2019 Lassen County Farm Bureau Scholarship recipients; Megan Banwarth, Holly Fortin, Charlene Simpson, Mary Ann Cizin, Honesty Drake, Kassidie Fitts, Rebecca Barnett and Emily Kramer.
“We are very proud to have such dedicated students to carry us into the future,” said Turner.
