Egg Stuffing Volunteers Help Prepare for Annual Easter Egg Hunt

These are the awesome volunteers who filled 11,000 eggs with candy Wednesday evening!

Susanville’s annual Community Easter Egg hunt will be held this Saturday at the Lassen County Fairgrounds with lots of candy-filled eggs thanks to some wonderful volunteers who spent Wednesday evening at the fairgrounds stuffing the plastic eggs.

More than fifty volunteers came to help stuff the 11,000 eggs that will be strewn about the fairgrounds’ lawn Saturday morning.

Thanks to our volunteers from Susanville Future Farmers of America, Lassen County Junior Fair Board, ETA ETA, Lassen High Drill Team, Future Business Leaders of America, Lassen ASB, Heartshine Foundation and several really nice families and individuals who showed up. Everybody helped so much!

Saturday’s event is free to all local kids to participate, just come on down and join in the fun.

The gates open at 9:30 and groups start at 10:00 with a different age group starting every 10 minutes.

    • 10:00 for Under 2
    • 10:10 for Ages 2 to 4
    • 10:20 for Ages 5 to 7
    • 10:30 for Ages 8 to 10
