Following their May 25th meeting the Lassen Community College Board of Trustees announced the selection of Dr. Trevor Albertson as the college’s new Superintendent/President.
Albertson had assumed the position on an interim basis in December of 2019, originally coming to LCC in 2018 to serve as the Dean of Instruction.
From 2015 to 2018, Albertson served as the Course Director and as an Assistant Professor for the Department of Airpower (History), Air Command and Staff College (ACSC), at the Air University in Montgomery, Alabama.
He earned his PhD from the University of California, Merced, was an IGCC-UCDC Dissertation Fellow in Foreign Policy Studies and was a recipient of a Hildebrand Fellowship.
Additionally, Albertson is a former Air Force Intelligence Officer and is now an honorably discharged veteran.
He invites the residents of the region and community to visit campus and say hello.
