Dr. Bateson’s Weather Corner: March Numbers Look Promising

The month of March saw more than average precipitation across northeastern California according to measurements collected by our local meteorological expert, Dr. Owen Bateson.

Saturday Bateson recorded .68 inches of moisture, with an additional 1.75 inches of rain falling Sunday, bringing the monthly total up to 3.84 inches.

Those numbers total up to 120% of average for the month, with more precipitation expected Monday before March comes to a close.

Weather forecasters are expecting more wet weather Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
