Dr. Bateson’s Weather Corner

Dr. Bateson reports that we have had the wettest June since 1995 and the second wettest June in the past 30 years.

The doctor recorded .22 inches yesterday morning in Susanville, which brings the monthly total to 1.87 inches, or 374% of average.

The yearly total is now at 30.72 inches, or 151% of average.

Bateson reports that Pine creek is still running, but dropping rapidly and Eagle Lake has dropped 1.32 inches from its highest point of 5097.68 feet on June 11th.
