Lassen County Toys for Tots is collecting toys to help fill up their Toyland at the Lassen County Fairgrounds, getting ready for the nearly 800 local children who will benefit from the annual program.
The organization has toy donation boxes and money jars out at several locations around town.
Swing on down to Merry Morsels with Heather Arter and drop off your toy while getting a delicious treat, pie, or drink. Merry Morsels is located at 2314 Main Street.
While doing your grocery shopping at Susanville Supermarket IGA, 50 Grand Avenue, you can drop-in some change or leave your toy in the boxes.
Dollar General has lots of toys to choose from and you can support a local business by buying a toy and leaving it in the toy donation box at their store, 2450 Main Street.
The Toys for Tots program will also be at the Uptown Christmas Celebration this Saturday from 4:00 until 7:00p.m. Come drop a toy or a cash donation at the corner of Main and Roop Streets.
You can also mail a donation to the nice folks at Toys for Tots.
