Darrol Calvert
Darrol Calvert was born 4/19/51 and passed away on 5/7/20. He was born in Buffalo, Wyoming and moved to Susanville in 1952. He attended McKinley Elementary School and then graduated from Lassen High School and also attended some college at Lassen College. He lived and worked 68 years in Susanville, CA.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patty Calvert, of Susanville; two older sisters, Leslie Norvell and Mona Uruburu both of Janesville and a twin sister, Sherry Scott, who lives in Yuma Arizona and a younger brother, Quinten Calvert of New York. He had two sons, Aaron and Wayne, and two step children, John Fisher and Carrie Fisher. He also has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Darrol was a loving husband, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a kind and giving soul and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was a bright light in a sometimes-dark world. We will miss him terribly.
