Interim City Administrator Kevin Jones announced on Thursday that the city is amending the fee structure for annual memberships at the Diamond Mountain Golf Course.
“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” explained Jones, “the City was unable to fully open the Diamond Mountain Golf Course on April 1st, as it has in the past, depending on weather.”
The course was officially opened with staffing on May 15th.
“Since, there have been requests to amend the annual membership costs based on the delay in opening. On May 27th, 2020 the City Council met to consider the requested fees. The Council adopted the recommended (amended) fee schedule pertaining to the annual rates.”
According to Jones this fee structure goes into effect immediately and only pertains to annual memberships.
Here are the current/amended Diamond Mountain Golf Course fees for the 2020 Golfing season.
Annual Membership
Individual $1,104.00
Individual w/Cart $1,362.00
Couple $1,572.00
Couple w/Cart $1,836.00
The Diamond Mountain Golf Course is still observing safety measures, consistent with the State of California and Lassen County Public Healthās guidelines.
Although there is no specific timeline to predict when tournaments may be held, people/organizations can reserve dates, but with no guarantee the course will be open to such on the date of the event.
