A Fort Jones, California, resident suffered moderate injuries on September 19th when the 2006 Harley Davidson Softtail she was driving overturned on US 395 near Wran Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, 59 year-old Gwen Neufeld-Lloyd was traveling southbound on 395 when, for reasons yet unknown, she applied the brakes of her motorcycle causing it to skid and she lost control.
The motorcycle overturned in the southbound lane and Neufeld-Lloyd was ejected. She sustained moderate injuries upon impact with the roadway.
The CHP reports that Neufeld-Lloyd was treated at the scene by SEMSA Ambulance Service and was transported to Renown Medical Center in Reno by Mountain Life Flight.
Nuefeld-Lloyd, according to the release, was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
