CHP Incident: Five Teens Injured in Chester Area Collision

A 16-year old Clear Creek girl and her four teenaged passengers all received minor injuries Monday in a single vehicle collision on Feather River Drive just west of Wagon Road near Chester.

At around 10:55p.m., according to details released by the Susanville office of the California Highway Patrol, the driver of a 2010 Toyota Scion was eastbound on Chester Warner Valley Road, just west of Juniper Lake Road, at a high rate of speed.

As the girl passed Juniper Lake Road and entered onto Feather River Drive, the CHP report says, she allowed the Toyota to leave the road to the north and collided with a tree.

All of the vehicle’s occupants received minor injuries and the driver was transported via air ambulance to Enloe Medical Center.

Two of her passengers were transported to Seneca Healthcare.

According to the CHP alcohol and drugs are not considered a factor in this collision.
