The calendar is the single most viewed calendar for area events. When forwarding the information remember to include the date, time, and location of the event, as well as contact information.
Chamber members should be sure that the Chamber’s information center has an adequate supply of your business cards and brochures on hand to promote your business throughout the year. This is a free marketing service that is available to all Chamber members.
The Chamber will be running the 2012 Fair’s beer concession the week of July 18th thru the 22nd. This will be a major fundraising event for the Chamber. If you are willing to volunteer contact the Chamber office, 257-4323 or sign-up to volunteer at any Chamber mixer. We are reaching out to the community and the chamber membership, whether you can volunteer for a few hours, a day or various times throughout the week, we need your help.
The Lassen Business and Career Network, in partnership with the Lassen County Department of Health and Social Services, have funding available to assist with the cost of hiring employees.
Lassen “Hire Now” funding is available to private employers in Lassen County for hourly wage reimbursement of up to 50% per employee. In addition you can receive assistance with recruitment and screening of qualified job candidates, and individual support for both the employer and the employee. Contact Terri at 257-5057.
