Mark your calendar to join Anytime Fitness as they host the Thursday, February 23, 2012 Chamber Mixer, from 5:30 to 7:30pm, at their location 2635 Main Street in Susanville.
Stop by to meet the new gym manager, learn about upcoming changes at Anytime Fitness, and to mingle with friends and business associates.
The 2012 Spring Home, Garden, and Outdoor Recreation Show is planned for Saturday, April 28th at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. If you would like to participate at this year’s event contact the Chamber staff at 257-4323 to have an application forwarded to you.
The event draws an average of 1500 people to the one day event each year. This is a great way to promote your business to a large audience with little expense and great exposure. 10’x10’booth spaces are available at $40/chamber member rate or $55/ non-Chamber rate. Spaces do fill up quickly and are assigned on a first-come-first served basis.
The Lassen Business and Career Network, in partnership with the Lassen County Department of Health and Social Services, have funding available to assist with the cost of hiring employees.
Lassen “Hire Now” funding is available to private employers in Lassen County for hourly wage reimbursement of up to 50% per employee. In addition you can receive assistance with recruitment and screening of qualified job candidates, and individual support for both the employer and the employee.
