Thank you to the many volunteers who helped the Chamber by manning the fair beer concession. This was a major undertaking for the Chamber and we could not have done it without the help and support of our huge crew of 75 volunteers – THANK YOU to all of you who pitched in – you are appreciated more than words can say.
A special thanks goes out to Debbie Lucero who volunteered each evening all 5 days at the ticket sales booth, Theresa Phillips who did an outstanding job as the event chair, and Dorine Blankenship event co-chair, as well as the committee and the entire Chamber Board of Directors who helped get volunteers signed up.
A fundraiser of this magnitude will help the Chamber stay financially strong and go a long way in helping us promote our programs, staff our office, and keep providing services to you – our members.
The Chamber board and staff are working hard to promote, increase, and support area businesses, enhance our community, create and sponsor community events, and promote Lassen County.
We invite you to join us by serving on a committee or volunteering for one of our many activities held throughout the year. Call the Chamber at 257-4323 if you would like to volunteer.
Mark your calendar and plan to attend the August Chamber Mixer that is planned for Thursday, August 23rd, 5:30 to 7:30pm. Sierra Jewelry Company and Edwards Jones Investments/Carla Parson have teamed up to co-host their first ever mixer and invite everyone to join in the fun evening planned.
The mixer will be held in historic uptown Susanville on North Gay Street between the two businesses which will be blocked off to hold the mixer. Sierra Jewelry Company and Edward Jones Investments/Carla Parson invite the community to stop by to mingle with friends and business associates.
You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend everyone is welcomed to join in the fun. We hope to see you there!
